Nintendo announces new OLED screen Switch game console

Nintendo has finally shown off the new Switch game console model we’ve been waiting for. The company today announced its new Switch model with an OLED display with 720p resolution.

Nintendo announced its new Switch model today, featuring a larger OLED screen of 7 inches. Although there are rumors that this model will come with a new Nvidia switch chip, they do not seem to reflect the truth. Nintendo has stated that this model will support 1080p images only with TV mode, while rumors include support for 4K Dec. The Switch OLED model will go on sale abroad on October 8 with a price tag of$350.

Adjustable desk stand revised in the model except for a new screen, 64 GB of internal memory (upgraded from 32 GB), internal wired Ethernet port for use at the table and get a new dock with improved sound support. Nintendo is talking about“1080p support with HDMI IN TV mode, ” so the rumored 4K mode is not available on this OLED Switch.

Details of Nintendo’s new game console

The new model doesn’t change much compared to the original model. Nintendo says the battery life on the new OLED Switch will be no more than 9 hours, which is the same as the current Switch. The new OLED Switch model is slightly heavier and longer than the original 290-gram model, with a weight of 320 grams.

The new Switch comes two years after Nintendo announced the Switch Lite, a smaller, cheaper version of the Switch that can’t connect to a TV. The Switch Lite went on sale in September 2019 at$199.

Nintendo’s Switch model has achieved incredible sales success, as it has consistently dominated the sales charts in the United States for almost two years. A total of 84.59 million units have been sold since the Switch model first appeared in 2017, approaching the Wii console’s total sales of 101.63 million units. The new Switch model is also likely to play a key role in bringing sales closer to Wii sales.
