The missing feature in Sora was the absence of sound in the generated videos. Whether OpenAI has any plans to address this issue is unknown, but another AI company, ElevenLabs, has made a noteworthy advancement in sound generation. By developing a new AI tool capable of creating sound effects through commands, ElevenLabs seems poised to fill the gap left by Sora.

In a demo video shared by ElevenLabs, videos circulating on social media for the past few days, generated by Sora, were utilized. The results were indeed impressive. At the very least, the sounds were perfectly compatible with the videos. The company stated the following in its announcement:
