Sony unveils home audio system with Dolby Atmos and IMAX

Sony introduces BRAVIA Theater Quad, an innovative audio system for home entertainment. It takes the audio experience to the next level with 360° spatial audio mapping, delivering immersive cinematic sound. Sony BRAVIA Theater Quad features

The sound field optimization feature customizes audio performance based on room layout and listener location. It analyzes room acoustics to adjust settings for the best sound, regardless of room size or shape. BRAVIA Acoustic Center Sync synchronizes audio with compatible BRAVIA TVs for perfect harmony of sound and visuals. Voice Zoom3 enhances dialog clarity so conversations can be heard clearly, even in noisy environments.

The sound system supports IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos technologies for superior home theater. The BRAVIA Connect App allows easy control of settings from smartphones or tablets. It integrates with popular music services and assistants. Bluetooth connectivity is also available to play music from a smartphone or tablet. The BRAVIA Connect app offers screen reader support and accessibility features such as QR codes.

The system comes with four wireless speakers that the user can place on a table or mount on a wall. There is also a remote control that can be easily connected to the TV via HDMI and optical options. For those who want more bass, there’s an extra wireless subwoofer. Sony offers two options, the SA-SW5 with 300w of deep bass or the SA-SW3 with 200w from a smaller subwoofer.
