Render images of the Google Pixel 8a model, which will be showcased on May 14, were shared. Thus, it has been confirmed that the phone will be available in green, white, black, and blue color options. However, we can say that the device will have a design with more rounded edges, unlike its predecessor.
Yogesh Brar, known for his leaks in the industry, revealed the technical specifications and price of the Google Pixel 8a. Accordingly, the smartphone will feature a 6.1-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
The processor to be used in the device will be Tensor G3. In fact, the chipset’s Geekbench performance test results last year were 1,218 points in single-core and 3,175 points in multi-core. In addition, 128/256 GB internal storage options will be available. The smartphone is expected to be introduced at the Google I/O conference in May.
There will be a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a horizontal dual camera on the back, consisting of a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor. The device will run Android 14 out of the box and will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that can be charged at 27W. Finally, the model will be priced between $500 and $550.
