Artificial intelligence is coming to the mouse after the keyboard. Logitech announced a feature that allows you to access ChatGPT with a key you assign from your mouse or keyboard. In addition, it also released a mouse with a special button for artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is being integrated into the devices we use every day, such as phones and computers. But not only in devices but also in accessories. For example, Microsoft recently started adding an “artificial intelligence key” to the keyboards of its computers.
Today, Logitech made an announcement that we will see artificial intelligence not only in keyboards but also in mice. The giant company introduced a feature called Logi AI Prompt Builder. It also added that it will release at least one mouse with an AI-specific button in the future.
Allows you to access ChatGPT with one button
The Logi AI Prompt Builder tool, added to Option+ for Windows and macOS, allows you to use a specially assigned key on the keyboard or mouse and easily access the ChatGPT model. When you press it, it not only opens the chatbot but also offers suggestions on how to issue commands.
Users will be able to designate a button from their Logitech mouse as artificial intelligence. It will be possible to perform many functions such as shortening paragraphs, summarizing, and creating emails with this shortcut. Logi AI Prompt Builder is available for free. For now, there is only the English language and ChatGPT model. Logitech says it will bring support for other languages and chatbots in the future.
The artificial intelligence keypad version of the M750 model was also announced
As we said at the beginning, in addition to this feature, Logitech will also offer mice with a button completely prepared for artificial intelligence. The first of these will be the “Signature AI Edition M750“, the artificial intelligence version of the M750 model. In the center of this model is a button that provides direct access to Logi AI Prompt. Of course, you don’t need to buy this mouse to use the feature. You can assign any key from your keyboard or mouse.
Signature AI Edition M750 is now available in the US and the UK. The price is announced as 49.99 dollars. There is no information about its arrival in other markets.
