The “Made in Thunder” event took place in Rimini, Italy, where Maserati unveiled its energetic transformation, innovative momentum, and creativity with the GranCabrio Folgore and the new 100% electric Trident range.
Elegant, attractive, sporty, and adventurous in character, a bold synthesis of innovation, high comfort, and exceptional craftsmanship, the GranCabrio Folgore is the first 100% electric convertible in the luxury segment. Following the GranTurismo Folgore, the brand’s first all-electric icon, and the Grecale Folgore, the first 100% electric SUV in Trident history, the new Maserati convertible completes the existing all-electric range.
The GranCabrio Folgore, Maserati’s latest product of innovation, interprets the innovative approach of Italian luxury. The event continued with a speech by Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design. Busse took everyone on a journey to discover the spirit of Folgore in the GranCabrio Folgore, featuring the exclusive liquid rose gold color, the titan gray sunroof, and the sophisticated fabric and ice interior with contrast stitching. He explained the technical features of the Folgore sound as it has evolved from the past to the present and the distinctive features of this special car, including Formula E. The star of the Maserati Fuoriserie personalization program, this car offers exceptional performance as well as stunning design.
Davide Grasso, Chairman of the Maserati Board of Directors, said that the Italian DNA is rooted in centuries of harmony and conflict between art and science and that the inspiration and feeling of this pursuit of excellence are embedded in the Maserati spirit.
