Almost every automaker is now introducing different products to get a share of this cake. The latest of these products is the audio cabin of Mercedes-AMG.
It’s not the grille of the car, it’s the speaker
When we look at the sound cabin, the first thing that attracts attention is, of course, the Mercedes logo on the front. The front panel on which the logo is located looks almost exactly the same as the iconic front grille that we see in the Mercedes-AMG GT series.
IXOOST in Modena, Italy, is already known for its success in designing supercar-themed audio systems. The company has now put its signature under the new Mercedes-AMG audio cabin. Just like cars, the cabin developed using carbon fiber is therefore quite lightweight but durable.
Produced as elegantly as possible, these sound booths are also handmade. Although the grid structure first attracts attention, the air ducts located at the top also have a great resemblance to the air ducts that we see on GT Black Series models. In the rear part, an exhaust structure stands out, in which there are audio outputs and we can connect cables.
On the other hand, the device not only looks beautiful but also gives high-quality sound. Inside the audio cabinet, there is a pair of 6-inch subwoofers and one-inch smaller speakers. Thus, it is possible to hear the multi-channel sound better. In addition, the sounds also sound clearer.
Mercedes-AMG has also recently introduced a new office chair from the AMG range. The weight of the device is about 11 kilograms.
