The long trailer from the sci-fi drama “Spaceman” starring Adam Sandler has been released. The movie, about an astronaut struggling with loneliness and the uncertainty of his relationship on Earth, will meet Netflix viewers on March 1.
The plot of “Spaceman” is briefly as follows: Six months into a solo research mission at the edge of the solar system, astronaut Jakub (Sandler) has plenty of time to think about the life he left behind, especially his relationship with his wife Lenka (Carey Mulligan).
The more Jakub thinks about it, the more he realizes that she may not wait for his return. Desperate to make amends with Lenka, he enlists the help of a mysterious creature hiding in the depths of his ship. Hanušs (voiced by Paul Dano), who has existed since the beginning of time, works with Jakub to figure out what went wrong before it’s too late.
Based on Jaroslav Kalfar’s 2017 novel Spaceman of Bohemia, the film was written by Colby Day and directed by Johan Renck, the Emmy-winning director of Chornobyl.
“The Endless Journey of an Astronaut”, which also stars Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, and Isabella Rossellini, will be on Netflix on March 1st!
