Telegram Developer Argues Apple Is’ Most Dangerous ‘ Company

Telegram’s developer, Pavel Durov, has ignited the fuse of a new controversy. Referring to Donald Trump’s ban from Twitter and the removal from app stores of the app called Parler, which is thought to have orchestrated the Senate building raid, Durov argues that Google and Apple are just as dangerous as other companies.

After WhatsApp announced that it would share user data with Facebook and its derivatives, users went in search of an app that was an alternative to WhatsApp. Some users have highlighted applications such as Telegram and Signal, while others have sought a native instant messaging application. As discussions on the issue were in full swing, Pavel Durov, the developer of Telegram, made a statement that would further escalate the situation.

According to statements made by Durov, the incident revealed another fact. This fact was the natural consequence of any company becoming a monopoly. As an example, the Telegram creator, who has cited Twitter’s permanent blocking of Donald Trump, says Apple and Google can be just as dangerous as other companies.

“The most dangerous is Apple, it makes more sense to use Android”

The US has hosted some very interesting events over the past week. Donald Trump stirred the country after a rally on January 6. Attempts by pro-Trump supporters to storm the Senate building and the loss of life as a result of the brawl have turned the eyes of the world to the United States. Claims that the attempted raid in question was organized through an app called Parler have prompted Apple and Google to act. Tech giants Google and Apple have removed Parler from their respective app stores. The creator of Telegram, on the other hand, emphasizes how dangerous this is in fact.

According to Pavel Durov, Apple is the most dangerous of tech companies. Because of this, millions of users can face restrictions at any time. That’s why Durov, who calls Apple “the most dangerous,” says it might make more sense to use Android. So what makes Pavel Durov think so? After all, the Android ecosystem is also under Google’s leadership…

Android’s open-source structure could free it from restrictions

The most important feature of the Android ecosystem is that it is open source. So developers can make changes on this Android as they wish. Also, installing apps from an external source into the iOS ecosystem is not possible on unbroken devices. But that’s not the case in the Android ecosystem. Each user can continue to use an APK file acquired by uploading it to their phone, except in the Google Play Store or other app stores. That’s exactly what Pavel Durov meant. The fact that the Android ecosystem is open to alternatives can allow restrictions to be bypassed.
