The new season of Black Mirror is coming in June

A blog post from Netflix stated that the new season will be the “most unpredictable” season of the series. The company has not yet explained the reason for this, but series creator Charlie Brooker gives us hints about what we can expect from this season.

Brooker said, “Partly as a challenge, partly in order to keep things fresh for both me and the audience, I started this season by deliberately changing some of my basic assumptions about what to expect. As a result, this time we have a few new elements, besides the more familiar Black Mirror metaphors, to flex the parameters of what a Black Mirror episode’ is, including some that I previously swore the series would never do. All of the stories are still in tons from the beginning to the end of Black Mirror, but there are some crazy changes and more diversity than ever before.” they said.

It is not yet known how many episodes the sixth season of Black Mirror will consist of, but last year Variety stated that there will be more episodes than the three episodes in the fifth season. The series will meet with viewers in June.

The season’s star-studded cast will include Aaron Paul, Annie Murphy, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, David Shields, Kate Mara, Paapa Essi Tue, Salma Hayek Pinault, Samuel Blenkin, and Zazie Beetz.
