Yvonne Strahovski was born on July 30, 1982, in Sydney, Australia, the daughter of Peter Strzechowski and Bozena Strzechowski. Her parents are immigrants from Poland. Yvonne changed her last name from Strzechowski to Strahovski because it was difficult to pronounce.

After attending high school at Santa Sabina College, she graduated from the University of Western Sydney “Theater Nepean” in 2003. He acted in various movies and TV series in Australia.

In 2007, he moved to the United States where he started acting with Zachary Levi in the TV series “Chuck”.

She played Miranda in the EA Games game Mass Effect 2. In the Square Enix game The 3rd Birthday, she played the voice of the main character Aya Brea.

She debuted in the series Dexter in the 3rd episode of Season 7. She plays the character of Hannah McKay in the series.
